Green up Much energy is consumed and wasted by a tool that we use every day - our PCs.
A&A Computers motivates its customers to change habits and green up their offices.
Refill Cartridges Whenever customers buy a printer from us, or an ink / toner cartridge, we inform them about our refilling services.
Repair, not replace If possible, we repair computer equipment, rather than replacing it.  
Upgrade, not replace Whenever customers want a new PC because their old model is 'too slow', we assess if the old PC can be used for a few more years with some software maintenance, and upgrading of memory and storage. Read here about our technical services
Inverters and solar panels,
no generators		 In Northern Tanzania we experience many power interruptions daily. We advise clients to use inverter backup systems, rather than generator sets. We only sell high quality, long-life batteries. We sell solar equipment to charge the batteries.  
Save Energy This is what we do ourselves, and advise to our customers:
- Turn off your PC when you don't use it.
- Don't use screen savers because they avoid displays from going blank or shutting down.
- Conserve on printing: fully proofread your documents before printing.
- Replace old CRT displays with TFT displays.
- In your office use one shared printer, instead of personal printers.
- Use power saving light bulbs saving 80% of energy.
- Make power saving light bulbs last 5+ years by connecting them through a stabilizer. 		Many of our "save money" tips also save energy.
Save Paper We encourage our customers to buy printers with built-in duplexers, for automatic double-sided printing.  
In 2010 we are working on - Recycling old PCs.
